Want to become a volunteer?Please take a moment to review these volunteering pages of our website. You can also find, on the website, information about our work and the projects we are involved with. If you would like to become a volunteer with the Trust please download our registration form, complete the relevant sections and send it to: info[at]hwtma.org.uk. We aim to respond to all enquiries with two working weeks.

We are always looking for a crew of volunteers to attend events in our maritime bus.
The HWTMA aims to record and preserve the foreshore heritage and our network of volunteers play an vital role in our success.
There is diving projects on a range of sites around the Solent.These generally run over the summer season.
We encourage any help from the public and we are happy to assist with personal research where we can

Potential volunteers may find it useful to undertake a NAS (Nautical Archaeology Society) Introduction course before participating in fieldwork. This one day course provides background to maritime archaeology. More information about NAS training course is available via www.nasportsmouth.org.uk.
