Western SolMAP

The Western Solent conceals a legacy of archaeological treasures. The shelter afforded by the Isle of Wight has allowed the accumulation of silt and sediments which have a high potential for preservation. The project aims to enhance our knowledge of the archaeological resource in the region through the investigation of sites found on and within the seabed.
