Needles Dive Trail
The line and sinkers laid around the site are being utilised for a dive trail. Trials began in 2004 to develop a trail around the most important areas of the site, highlighting the most interesting features and artefacts.

The trail aims to increase access to the Protected Site and the variety of wrecks that litter the Needles, include HMS Pomone and HMS Assurance. It is closely tied in to our Maritime Heritage Centre at Fort Victoria. Here participants will recieve lectures and briefings and will also visit our exhibition. The trail will be up and running in the 2005 season.
