Hamble River Project

Welcome to the webpages of the Hamble River Project.

Over the past five years the HWTMA have been investigating the maritime archaeology of the river. This ancient waterway has been an important route into the heart of Hampshire for millenia.

Consequently the river holds many remains of past industry and settlement.

From here you can investigate the maritime archaeology of the river in several ways:
Where? search for a site by location
What? search for a site by type
When? search for a site by age
