Discover Oceanography and Archaeology

On Thursday the 29th July there were two trips on the National Oceanography Centre's research vessel RV Callista.
The trips were organised by HWTMA with the help of the Discover oceanography crew and made possible due to generous sponsorship from the Drapers Charitable Fund.

They were for 10-13 year olds with a focus on science and how it is essential in many careers and disciplines such as maritime archaeology and oceanography.

 

In the morning we also had a visit from Joanna from the Daily Echo, who took many pictures and asked some questions, hopefully we will see our faces in the next issue.
