D-Day Memories
Come and share your memories from D-Day and thoughts about what we should do with its sunken heritage. We will be in the at the Royal Marines Museum Monday the 20th of  December
While on its way to Normandy in 1944 LCT(A)2428 developed engine trouble near Selsey Bill and capsized.
Today the landing craft and its cargo cargo of tanks and bulldozers rest on the seabed just outside the Solent.
The site has been extensively excavated in the last two years and today we launch a new project to explore the wrecks and to find out what you think about this site, about your memories of D-Day and what you think should happen in the future.
