Chamberlayne College and HWTMA goes 3D
This week a new 3D project took off where pupils from Chamberlayne College create 3D images of Southampton’s Maritime Heritage.
This project has been made possible with the support from PUSH-Find your talent. HWTMA are working with 3 groups of gifted and talented pupils from Chamberlayne College for the Arts in Weston. The project is looking into how we can represent Southampton's maritime heritage in 3D images. During the next few months, children will select a number of historical buildings/sites within the city that have strong links with maritime history. The pupils will then carry out research on the chosen sites/buildings, photograph them and make them into 3D images of which six will be framed to showcase in the city later this spring.
