The Hamble River Maritime Archaeological Foreshore Companion aims to provide anyone visiting the river, or interested in the local environment, with information on the range of archaeological remains that can be viewed.
The fully illustrated, colour, splash proof booklet takes a chronological approach to the maritime archaeology of the river. Not only does it provide information on known sites it also gives examples of sites found in similar environments around the Solent region.
Users of the guide are encouraged to provide feedback if they discover a site or find that may recently have been uncovered.
