The Trust runs a variety of events to involve people in its work. This includes talks, archaeological projects for divers, inter tidal fieldwork, running activity days and events for the Friends of the Trust. We welcome new Friends of the HWTMA. You can join during an event for a reduced membership fee of £10 (or £8 for concessions).

Wednesdays in August: The Hampshire and Wight Trust for Maritime Archaeology will be continuing their popular maritime archaeology themed summer activity days held at the Underwater Archeology Centre. A full list of activities will be available soon.

Alum Bay Dive Trail: The Alum Bay Dive Trail takes visitors around two wrecks in the bay, one of which is believed to be part of HMS Pomone. If you are an individual or buddy pair you can book onto one of our pre-arranged dates where we have a local charter boat for you. Dates for this are limited so please contact Jan Gillespie on (02380) 593290 to book asap. We also offer other packages which are detailed in our Dive Trail section
